Planet Information

Sunis the symbol of your true self, some astrologers say the Sun is your ego. Moon is the symbol of your emotions, your moods, your instincts. Planet Aspects

When the chart is calculated by a computer you will see a grid with the planets listed and showing the aspects between all of them. The glyphs next to the planet name on the planetary position grid is the symbol used for each planet. Aspects are angles. When the planets are frozen in orbit for our time of birth there are specific angles between planets that astrologers have found are more important than others when reading a chart. These angels usually divide the circular astrological horoscope into equal parts. The most powerful angles between two planets are 180 degrees, an opposition, which is the circle divided into two; a square is 90 degrees, dividing the circle into four parts; a trine is 120 degrees and divides a the circle into three parts; and two planets that are zero degrees apart are called a conjunction. Not all planets will have aspects, but unaspected planets do have an affect on a person. The type of aspect between planets determines the nature of the CONVERSATION between the planets.

Elements, Qualities, and Polarities

Also shown as a small table in this particular chart is the sum of the groupings for the Elements, Qualities and Polarities for the signs in the chart. Each sign in the astrological chart is grouped according to these three mentioned characteristics. So even though each planet is different there are similarities among them which, when added up in someone's chart, is a good quick way to derive at "the big picture".
